Tom Sinton graduated from New Mexico State with a Civil Engineering degree in 1972 and the next day started work with a national company specializing in the design, construction and renovation of Military Family Housing. After 36 years of extensive hands-on experience with all aspects of the design, construction and renovation of almost 200 housing projects at bases all over the US, he and Carol, his wife since 1973, retired to Port Angeles to build their “last” house and enjoy the scenery and beauty of the area. In 2008, he joined the NDLSA Board and later became the Chairman of the Maintenance and Renovation Committee. He has really enjoyed the experience, people and privilege of being part of the NDLSA and saving history for others to enjoy. In 2016 Tom was elected President of the Association.
