Chad Kaiser

Chad Kaiser has been the General Manager of the New Dungeness Light Station Association since 2011. His professional involvement with lighthouses and lighthouse preservation began over 14 years ago when he was hired on by the Maritime Exchange Museum in Southeast Michigan. While with the Maritime Exchange Museum Chad was pivotal in helping the Museum become the largest private collection of Lifesaving Service and lighthouse antiques in the United States. For about five years starting in 2007 Chad worked for the national preservation group, the U.S. Lighthouse Society. At the Society he assisted the organization with a move from San Francisco to Washington State. His responsibilities included Collections Manager along with planning and leading many domestic and international tours of lighthouses. In addition to his time with NDLSA Chad has been involved with dozens of lighthouse preservation projects including consulting on lighthouse restorations along with transportation and conservation of lighthouse lenses.
